Who is SEGA?

Problem to Solve

SEGA was looking to promote its owned IP’s within the trade to grow their consumer products business and secure new licensing deals. It was critically important for SEGA consumer products to be visible and relevant to the licensing industry as they have so many highly licensable programs, all of which constantly need new licensees and partners.

SEGA was looking to promote its owned IP's and secure new licensing deals within the industry, leading to a full year partnership with the GLG across in-person events and digital programs.


Licensing Expo

As the biggest licensing event of the year with 11,800+ attendees over three days, SEGA booked an exhibitor booth in addition to sponsored banners, a branded lounge area, meeting rooms and an appearance in the Licensing Expo drone show!

This allowed SEGA to showcase their customer products business and gave the unique opportunity to share the SEGA three-year vision with all of their partners so that they could stay aligned on goals and continue building out programs together.

Brand Licensing Europe

As Europe's biggest tradeshow for brand licensing, SEGA booked a booth to stay top of mind with potential partners and expand their consumer products business to 9,500+ attendees.

As SEGA has many highly licensable programs, they wanted to be able to easily connect with current and new licensees and partners at the show.

License Global

SEGA partnered with License Global on print & digital issues and was the exclusive sponsor of the Top Global Licensors Report, with 1,680 downloads over the course of the year.

Shared with the GLG's audience of 100,000+ licensing professionals, SEGA was able to grow brand awareness and stay top of mind with their partners.
